Dunedin. New Zealand’s hard-hitting young opener Finn Allen has thrashed Pakistani bowlers. Allen registered his name in the record books by scoring 137 runs in just 62 balls in the third T20 match against Pakistan on Wednesday.
Finn Allen also hit 16 sixes and 5 fours during his stormy innings. This is also the highest score by a Kiwi player in men’s T20 Internationals.
He also surpassed Brendon McCullum’s score of 123 (72) against Bangladesh in Pallekele in 2012.
With this he also equaled the world record of most sixes in an innings. Hazratullah Zazai of Afghanistan is on top with 16 sixes and now Finn Allen has also reached his level.
Hazratullah Zazai scored 162 runs in 62 balls in the match against Ireland in February 2019. In this innings he hit 11 fours and 16 sixes.
