First Women Maharashtra Kesari Wrestling Tournament Sanglit begins

Miraj; Pudhari circle service: The first women’s Maharashtra Kesari wrestling competition on behalf of Maharashtra State Kustigir Parishad started on Thursday at Mirjetil District Sports Complex. About 450 wrestlers from across the state have participated in the wrestling competition. Today Friday the main fight will happen.
The competition was inaugurated by Hindkesari Dinanath Singh. The first competition was held in the 50 weight category. The first wrestling took place between Raigad’s Bhumika Khanda and Nagpur’s Rupali Matwadkar or Doghi. Or in wrestling Bhumika got zero marks, while Rupali got seven marks. That’s why only Rupali became victorious in wrestling. The second wrestling took place between Durga Shirsat of Ahmednagar and Shreya Mandle of Satarya. In this, Durga Hila got zero qualities, while Mandala Hila got twelve qualities. That’s why only Shreya won in wrestling.
Congress leader Jayashree Patil, Mayor Digvijay Suryavanshi, Vice-Maharashtra Kesari Sampatrao Jadhav, Balasaheb Landge, Sambhaji Varute, Sports Officer Manikrao Waghmare, Malan Mohite, International Wrestling Panch Navnath Dhamaal, Yuvraj Bavdekar, Dhiraj Suryavanshi, Geeta Sutar were present.
