From musical symphony to laser light show-Ahmedabad ready for grand finale

Ahmedabad. The iconic Narendra Modi Stadium is all set for the grand finale of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 as India and Australia face each other for the historic encounter on Sunday.

The BCCI on Saturday announced the full schedule of spectacular events leading up to the final. “It can’t get any bigger than this. The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 Final is full of spectacular performances and the experience of a lifetime,” BCCI posted on Twitter. “

Air show at 1.35 pm

The Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team of the Indian Air Force will perform with a spectacular 15-minute air show before the start of the match. Under the guidance of Flight Commander and Deputy Team Leader Wing Commander Sidhesh Karthik, a group of nine aircraft will depart from Ahmedabad airport to perform an awe-inspiring vertical air show over the Narendra Modi Stadium.

Pritam and team performing in between innings

Bollywood music director Pritam will perform on the World Cup stage, joining singers like Jonita Gandhi, Nakash Aziz, Amit Mishra, Akasa Singh and Tushar Joshi. The concert will include hit songs like “Dil Jashn Bole” and other tracks for the showcase. Apart from Pritam, the music showcase will also feature Aditya Gadhvi and many other artistes.

A mesmerizing international laser production will display the name of the winning team along with the trophy, lighting up the Ahmedabad sky with over 1200 lights. Following this spectacle, a spectacular fireworks display will mark the grand finale of this momentous occasion in international cricket. The duration of the show is said to be 90 seconds.

There is also news that BCCI is also planning to honor all the World Cup winning captains at Narendra Modi Stadium.
