G20 Summit: Along with cultural heritage, a unique glimpse of Digital India will also be seen in ‘Bharat Mandapam’

The G20 summit begins here on September 9 and the venue has showcased some of the country’s major digital public infrastructure projects, from UPI to telemedicine service e-Sanjeevani. “Digital India Experience Zone” has been set up at the venue Bharat Mandapam where guests will be able to experience the Digital India journey through virtual reality.
A major attraction of the summit venue
The government described this zone, which has been set up in Hall No. 4 and 14, as a “major attraction” of the summit venue. Artificial Intelligence (AI) based language platform Bhashini, Aadhaar, DigiLocker and Diksha portal have also been showcased here. G20 delegates will be able to experience the progress made by India in the field of digital public infrastructure through the e-Sanjeevani ‘Kiosk’.
Use of state-of-the-art technology was demonstrated
In a video post on social media platform X, a glimpse of the various facilities set up for the delegates at the India Pavilion for the G20 was given. These also include ‘RBI Innovation Hub Pavilion’ and ‘Digital India Experience Zone’. In this short video, G20 Chief Coordinator Harsh Vardhan Shringla also gives a glimpse of the offices created for representatives of all member states and invited countries. Shringla said in this video that the Digital India Experience Zone showcases India’s digital public infrastructure and the use of cutting-edge technology in the country’s development journey.
