Lucknow. During the IPL match played in Lucknow, Virat Kohli, Gautam Gambhir and Naveen-ul-Haq got into an argument on Monday, after which they were fined. Gautam Gambhir, mentor of Lucknow Super Giants, has been fined for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct during their Tata Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 match against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow, the IPL said in a statement. A fine of 100 per cent of the match fee has been imposed.

Gambhir has admitted to a Level 2 offense under Article 2.21 of the IPL Code of Conduct, the IPL said in a statement.

Royal Challengers Bangalore batsman Virat Kohli has been fined 100 per cent of his match fee for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct. Kohli admitted to a Level 2 offense under Article 2.21 of the IPL Code of Conduct, the statement said.

Lucknow Super Giants bowler Naveen-ul-Haq has been fined 50 per cent of his match fee. Naveen-ul-Haq has admitted to the Level 1 offense under Article 2.21 of the IPL Code of Conduct.(IANS)
