Infinix GT 10 Pro 5G Design: On opening the box of this phone of Infinix, its rear design will be visible first. Its rear is different and comes with a glass finish back. However, the phone is made of polycarbonate. A large size screen is available in the front and a metallic frame is available in the sides. We had it in Black and Orange colours. LED lights were also given on its back.

There are 3 camera cutouts on the rear. The overall back panel definitely attracts in the look. Due to the glass back on its rear, fingerprints fall easily. The LED lights on the back blink for different tasks like charging, incoming calls, notifications etc. This phone has been made keeping in mind the young consumer. The special thing is that despite being a gaming smartphone, it is quite lightweight (187 grams). It fits easily in the hand.

Infinix GT 10 Pro 5G Display: The phone has a 6.67-inch FHD + AMOLED display. LTPS panel has been used for its screen. The smartphone comes with 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, 900 nits brightness. Some apps only work at 60Hz but the apps that support it can use 120Hz/90Hz/60Hz and auto mode.

The display comes with slim bezels which helps in streaming, gaming and enhancing the visual experience. The colors of the display look a bit boosted. Shades of green, blue and red look bright. HDR support is not available with this but Widevine L1 has been made available for Netflix so that the content can be viewed in HD.

Infinix GT 10 Pro 5G Camera: The phone comes with triple camera setup on the rear. The smartphone has 108MP primary camera, 2MP depth and 2MP macro sensor. Its primary 108MP camera clicks decent pictures in good lighting. It is AI camera and automatically clicks images in AI. Pictures taken with AI come boosted in terms of colour. Colors look natural when AI is turned off. Dynamic range and colors are both good in pictures. Pictures taken at night also come out fine. The Super Night Mode of the phone works well at this price and gives better picture output in low light conditions.

Leaving the primary, the other two cameras do not do much good work. It has a 32MP camera for selfie. It captures decent selfies from the front as well. We did not have expectations from its camera but it would not be wrong to say that in terms of camera it performed well according to the price. Good detailing is also available in portrait mode and the background remains blurred.

Infinix GT 10 Pro Processor: MediaTek Dimensity 8050 chipset has been given in this phone. This is the first phone to come with this chipset in India. The chipset houses the primary Cortex ARM A78 core clocked at 3.0GHz. There are also 3 performance Cortex A78 cores clocked at 2.6GHz and 4 efficiency Cortex A55 cores clocked at 2.0GHz. The phone has 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

We have used the smartphone for some time and whether it is streaming or multitasking, the phone has definitely surprised us in terms of performance. Even during gaming, we did not experience any slowdown. There is definitely heat during phone gaming but this problem becomes much better during bypass charging. But still, since Infinix has advertised it as a gaming smartphone, there must have been something going on with its cooling system.

We played games like Shadow Fight, Spider Fighter, Call of Duty on the phone and the phone performed very smoothly. Graphics and frame rates were set on high during gaming sessions. Custom settings can be made in advance by going to X Arena. Gaming experience was best on bypass charging. The buttons on the side of the phone can be set to be used in games. The LED lights blink on different functions to give a cool effect while gaming.

The company also provided gaming accessories for review, including triggers and gloves. The quality of the gloves was fine. But setting the trigger on the phone was a bit tricky. One side trigger is set well but due to the other side buttons and camera module, there was a problem with the setup and due to this the experience was a bit bad. The triggers on the side of the module tend to slip out slowly, even with great care. For this the company could have thought in advance and something better could have been done. Apart from this, in terms of thermal performance, it has been given a vapor chamber cooling system which works well and this is the reason why this phone does not heat much even during long gaming sessions despite being priced below 20 thousand.

Infinix GT 10 Pro works on Android 13 on XOS 13 skin. The most important thing about its OS this time was that there was no bloatware in it, which makes the overall experience much better. Using this OS was a very easy experience. One point that might disappoint users is that the company has promised only 1 major Android update. With this, 2 security patches will be available. Most brands offer major software updates for up to 3 years.

Infinix GT 10 Pro Battery: The phone has 45W fast charging support with a 5000mAh battery. In its box, the company has also given a USB cable along with a 45W charger. Battery backup of the phone is good. E-mail, browsing, heavy usage of inst-whatsapp, clicking photos, content streaming and after 1 to 2 hours of gaming, the battery lasts a full day. After so much use, it lasted well for the whole day and had to be charged only at night. Its battery went from 100 to 60 after 2-2 hours of extensive gaming every day for two days. Talking about charging, the phone gets charged from 0 to 100% in about 1 hour with the 45W charger given in its box. In this, USB to Type-C wire is available in the box for charging. It would have been better if it came with Type-C to Type-C.

Our Verdict: The Infinix GT 10 Pro is made for those who want a gaming phone at an affordable price. The smartphone offers good specs in all respects from design to display, processor, battery and camera. Infinix has promised 1 year of Android updates, so the phone will stay updated for 2 years. It has features like NFC, front and back dual flash, LED lights on the rear, neon color on the back, gaming design, fast clock speed, IP53 rating, light-weight, stereo speakers. So if you want a gaming phone with good battery life with an average camera and display, then this phone could be the option for you. In the range of 20000, we would call it a good option overall.
