However, the company is likely to start selling this new scooter in the Indian market only in January 2024. Currently, the company is focused on meeting the needs of B2B partners. For this, it has joined hands with companies providing home delivery facilities like Zomato and Swiggy. However, media reports suggest that Gogoro will supply its crossover electric scooters only through EV delivery firm Zip (ZYPP) Electric.
Gogoro is working with Hero MotoCorp in India
Let us tell you that in March this year, some documents of Gogoro 2 and Gogoro 2 Plus were leaked, in which its dimensions, battery and range were revealed. Gogoro has partnered with Hero MotoCorp for the sale and production of its scooters in India. Gogoro produces both low speed and high speed electric scooters. Many models of the company are already present in the international market. For the last few days, the company has also been working with Hero MotoCorp towards increasing charging stations and swapping infrastructure in India.

According to documents received from the Central Institute of Road Transport (CIRT), both scooters have been homologated in India. The company has also listed the SuperSport model on its website in India. According to the documents, both Gogoro 2 and Gogoro 2 Plus measure 1,890 mm in length, 670 mm in width and 1110 mm in height. Their wheelbase is 1,295 mm. Both models can carry a weight of 273 kg. It is equipped with lithium-ion battery pack. The range of Gogoro 2 on a signal charge is 85 kilometers and the range of Gogoro 2 Plus is 94 kilometers. It is believed that its battery will be swapped and run.

Gogoro sells cheap e-scooters like Viva in India
Taiwanese two-wheeler manufacturer Gogoro currently sells a small and cheap electric scooter called Viva in India. It has a 3 kilowatt hub-mounted electric motor. With the help of this motor, if driven continuously at a speed of 30 km per hour, it gives a range of 85 km. It has a hub motor, which generates 85 Nm of torque. Hero MotoCorp has also launched its electric scooter in collaboration with Viva.
