kia sonet facelift
Kia Motor, a subsidiary of South Korean car manufacturing company Hyundai Motor, is preparing to update its Sonet car model and introduce it in a facelift version. This will be the first facelift model of Kia Sonet. The company hopes that after updating the Sonet, it will help in its sales. At the front, the company has added new three-tier LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, a more muscular bonnet and black chrome inserts. In the new design, the side profile remains the same except for the alloy wheels. In its back, LED taillights connected to light bar and slightly newly designed bumpers will be available.
As far as the features of this car are concerned, its list is expected to be long. Its safety features are expected to include 6 airbags with ABS and EBD standard. This advanced variant can be equipped with ADAS feature, because Hyundai Motor has introduced it in some models of its Venue car. Talking about its engine, its powertrain can remain the same as the old models, equipped with 1.0-litre turbo petrol, 1.2-litre NA petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine. Now if we talk about the price of this compact SUV car, then its current price in the Indian car market is around Rs 7.79 lakh. This price is for its base model.
Mahindra XUV300 Facelift
Mahindra & Mahindra’s second generation compact SUV car is XUV300, which can be launched in the market next year. Major changes are expected to be made in terms of exterior, interior and features of this facelifted SUV car. The headlamp and DRL design at its front is inspired by the XUV700. Newly designed LED taillights can be found in its back, which is equipped with connected LED treatment.
Apart from this, the feature list can also be updated to include wireless charging, panoramic sunroof and ADAS safety technology. No changes are expected in its engines, which are three engines – a 1.2-litre turbo petrol, a 1.2-litre TGDI turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre turbo diesel. The current price of its base model in the ex-showroom of India may be slightly more than Rs 7.99 lakh, but it is expected that this time the price of its advanced variant will be right.

Japanese car manufacturer Toyota Kirloskar Motor is going to launch its new compact SUV car in the market. This will be a rebadged version of Maruti Suzuki Franks. The company can make minor changes in its front, the rest of the design will be the same as before. It could be equipped with interior features like a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, auto climate control and a comprehensive safety package with six airbags.
No changes are expected in its engine either. It is a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine, which generates 90bhp power and 113Nm torque and is equipped with 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT gearbox and 1.0-litre BoosterJet. Its petrol engine generates 100 bhp power and 147Nm torque, which is mated to 5-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter with paddle shifters.
