Rashid Khan became the new Purple Cap holder
Rashid Khan has become the new Purple Cap holder of IPL 2023 due to his amazing bowling against 5-time champions Mumbai Indians. He topped the list of highest wicket takers by taking 2 wickets against Mumbai. Rashid has put the purple cap on his head leaving RSBI behind Mohammad Siraj. Rashid has so far bowled 26 overs in this season’s IPL, in which he has taken 14 wickets for 205 runs. His best performance has been 3 for 31 in IPL 2023.
