New Delhi. Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh has praised Harry Brook, who scored a brilliant century against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), saying that the England batsman has a variety of shots and hits the weak balls for boundaries. Sunrisers Hyderabad take on Mumbai Indians in their hometown IPL 2023 on Tuesday evening. Sunrisers would like to continue their good run in the last few matches.

Brook will once again be in everyone’s eye after his brilliant batting against KKR. The budding England cricketer put the disappointment of the previous games behind him as he scored his maiden Tata IPL century in his fourth match in the tournament.

Harbhajan highlighted Brook’s weakness against spinners but believes he will get better with experience.

Harbhajan Singh said on Star Sports show Cricket Live, Brook plays fast bowling well. He has a variety of shots against fast bowlers. Although he is not very strong against spin, he hides his weakness by taking singles and doubles. He hits whenever he gets the chance. Also, he is getting good support from other batsmen. This will give them a lot of confidence going forward.

On the other hand, Mumbai Indians also registered back-to-back wins in IPL 2023 and the team led by skipper Rohit Sharma would like to carry forward the momentum.

Former India cricketer Mohammad Kaif believes that Mumbai Indians have shown why they are five-time champions with their dominating performances in the last two matches.

Kaif said, hopefully, we will see the old rhythm of Mumbai Indians against Sunrisers Hyderabad. MI were known for their aggressive batting performances and the last two games are proof of that.(IANS)
