Hat Tricks in IPL, 18 bowlers from Balaji to Ajit Chandila have taken hat-tricks in IPL history, see full list

The 16th season of IPL 2023 will be played from 31 March. So far in 15 seasons of the tournament, which started in 2008, 18 bowlers have taken hat-trick wickets 21 times. Two bowlers have taken more than one wicket in three consecutive balls. We tell you about all these bowlers.

L Balaji

In IPL 2008, L Balaji of Chennai Super Kings became the first bowler to take a hat-trick in the league. He dismissed Irfan Pathan, Piyush Chawla and VRV Singh against Punjab.

Amit Mishra

Amit Mishra is the only bowler to take three hat-tricks in the league. He took three wickets in three consecutive balls for Delhi in 2008, Deccan Chargers in 2011 and Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2013.

Makhaya Ntini

Makhaya Ntini took a hat-trick for Chennai Super Kings against KKR in the 2008 season.

Yuvraj Singh

For Punjab, Yuvraj took three wickets in three consecutive balls against RCB and Deccan Chargers in the 2009 season.

Rohit Sharma

While playing for Deccan, Rohit took a hat-trick against Mumbai Indians in the 2009 season.

Praveen Kumar of Royal Challengers Bangalore took a hat-trick wicket against Rajasthan in 2010.

For KKR, Sunil Narine took the wickets of David Hussey, Azhar Mahmood and Gurkeerat Singh in three consecutive balls against the Punjab Kings in 2013.

Pravin Tambe took a hat-trick for Rajasthan Royals against KKR in the 2014 season.

Rajasthan’s Shane Watson took three wickets in three balls against Hyderabad in 2014 itself.

Akshar Patel of Punjab Kings completed a hat-trick against Gujarat Lions in the 2016 season by dismissing Bravo, Jadeja and Karthik.
