Hero opened the first ‘Premia’ dealership in Kozhikode, Kerala in October 2023. The company aims to establish itself as an attractive premium motorcycle brand. For this the company is adopting a three-tier strategy.
Why ‘Premia’ Dealership?
Under the first strategy, high-end bikes of Hero brand, Hero-Harley and Vida products will be sold through ‘Premia’ dealerships. Under the second strategy, different ‘zones’ will be created in the showroom, such as urban biking and street motorcycling. This will provide a better experience to different types of buyers. Under the third strategy, the company will run new branding campaigns to attract the youth. The company aims to strengthen its share in the rapidly growing luxury two-wheeler market.
Maverick 440 only at ‘Premia’ dealerships
Recently, Hero MotoCorp has launched its new flagship motorcycle, Maverick 440, to woo the youth. This bike will be available only through ‘Premia’ dealership network. Apart from this, Harley X440, Hero Karizma XMR, Vida V1 and other bikes are also available in this network. The Maverick 440 is the second product of the Hero-Harley collaboration. The roadster shares its basic structure with the Harley-Davidson X440, which was launched last year.

The Hero Maverick features an LCD screen for the instrument console that displays various information. It has Bluetooth connectivity, which allows call and SMS alerts, music playback and turn-by-turn navigation, as well as other linked capabilities, which can be accessed through the mobile app. Additionally, it also gets LED projector headlights and fully LED lighting.
Harley-Davidson X440
The new Hero flagship is powered by the 440 cc single-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine from the Harley-Davidson X440. This motor is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The long-stroke engine is tuned for torque, producing 90 percent of torque at 2,000 rpm. The Hero Maverick 440, unlike the Harley X440, is offered with 43 mm telescopic front forks and a monoshock at the rear, disc brakes at both ends and dual-channel ABS.

In this segment, Hero Maverick 440 will compete with powerful bikes like Royal Enfield Classic 350, Jawa 350, Honda CB350 and Harley-Davidson X440. So bike lovers, get ready for a blast!
