Only SIM card will be available. Unless your biometric verification is done, the telecom company will not provide you a SIM card. If any telecom company violates this rule, a heavy fine of Rs 2 crore has been imposed on it by the government. Along with this, the license of the shop selling mobile SIM cards can also be canceled with immediate effect.
