The eighth edition of PSL i.e. Pakistan Super League 2023 is currently being organized in Pakistan with great enthusiasm. This interesting tournament has started from 13th February. The third match of the league was played between Quetta Gladiators and Multan Sultans on 15 February. In which Pakistan team’s young and fast bowler Naseem Shah made such a mistake while playing for Quetta, due to which 10 percent of his match fee was deducted as a fine.
In fact, when Naseem Shah came out to bat against Multan Sultans, he was seen wearing the helmet of Bangladesh Premier League team and not Quetta Gladiators. That helmet belonged to his BPL franchise Comilla Victorians. Please tell that before PSL, Shah was a part of Bangladesh Premier League. So when he in PSL. When he came to bat wearing Comilla Victorians helmet, the Pakistan Cricket Board fined him 10% of his match fee under the Code of Conduct.
Apart from this, talk about the match, in the third match of PSL, Multan Sultans won the toss and decided to bowl first. Which also proved to be very effective. Quetta’s batting came on the backfoot in front of Multan’s Ihsanullah’s fast bowling. He created a ruckus by taking 5 wickets. In such a situation, Quetta could not even play full 20 overs and got all out after scoring just 110 runs in 18.5 overs. Jason Roy of England scored the most runs for Quetta. He played a good inning of 27 runs in 18 balls. On the other hand, Multan achieved the target of 111 runs in 13.3 overs due to Riley Russo’s blistering innings of 78 runs and easily won the match with 9 wickets remaining including 6.3 overs.
