Hockey Jharkhand: Easy victory of Jharkhand in both men and women’s hockey championship

Jharkhand Sports News: First Hockey India junior women and junior men running in Khunti East Zone Hockey Championship Three matches were played in the women’s category and one in the men’s category on Wednesday. Jharkhand defeated Bihar 5-0 in the men’s match. Player of the match was given to Rohit Tirkey of Jharkhand. In Wednesday’s match, Sushil Topno, who was a member of the Indian men’s hockey team in the 1982 World Cup, Jail Superintendent Besra Nishant Robert, Zubair Ahmed, Ravi Prakash started the match after getting introduced to the players. The player of the match award was given by international women’s hockey player Subhadra Pradhan, Jail Superintendent Besra Nishant Robert, Birsa Medical College Khunti CEO Abhishek Sourav, Labor Superintendent Baban Singh. In the matches played so far, the teams of women’s category have played all their three matches.
Jharkhand’s team has scored a total of 39 goals, Mizoram 31, Odisha 16, Bihar five, Assam one. In the men’s section, all the teams have played two matches so far, in which Odisha has scored 21 goals, Jharkhand 13, Bengal four and Assam two.
