Hyderabad won the final match of the league stage from Kerala

Cochin (The Hindu News): Defending champions Hyderabad FC beat Kerala Blasters 1-0 in the final league stage match ahead of the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) 2022-23 playoffs on Sunday.
In the match played at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Spanish midfielder Borja Herrara scored the winning goal in the 29th minute. Australian attacking midfielder Joel Kenigy was declared the hero of the match for his strong performance in midfield.
With this victory, the Hyderabad team of head coach Manolo Marquez will enter the playoffs in a positive way. Hyderabad FC have 42 points from 20 matches with 13 wins, three draws and four losses while they remain at the second position in the table.
Head coach Ivan Vukomanovic’s Blasters dreams of playing in the playoffs at home have been dashed as a third straight defeat snapped their six-win streak at home. Kerala Blasters have 31 points from 20 matches with 10 wins, one draw and nine losses and will end the league stage in fifth place.
