Rohit Sharma said this after winning the toss
We will bowl first. no particular reason. Just the nature of the ground, especially the shorter ranges. What we were talking about in our meetings, we were able to come out and execute it in the first game. We asked people for specific roles and they performed accordingly. Nothing much, they don’t have any burden and it’s all about supporting them, allowing them to be free on the ground. We will do things keeping the World Cup in mind but we know that results are also important. Kohli and Jaiswal return in place of Gill and Tilak.
Rohit is the king of Holkar Stadium
The Indian team will play its fourth T20 match against Afghanistan at Holkar Stadium in Indore. Team India has won against Sri Lanka in the two matches played here, whereas it had to face defeat in the only match against Africa. Captain Rohit Sharma has scored a century in 35 balls here in the year 2017. However, in the match against Africa in 2022, he was out for zero. However, both the teams had scored a total of 405 runs in that match and Riley Rousseau had scored a century in 48 balls. On this ground with small boundaries, Fais will have hopes of scoring runs again.
