Virat Kohli missed the record
Indian team’s star batsman Virat Kohli, who came to play T20 match 55 days after the World Cup, did not do much with his bat during the match. Kohli played an innings of 29 runs in 16 balls with the help of five fours. Kohli missed making another big record. Kohli was only six runs away from 12000 in T20. In the first T20 match, Kohli did not play that match citing personal reasons. Later it was confirmed that January 11 was the birthday of Virat’s beloved daughter.
Akshar Patel scored a double century
In the second T20 match being played with Afghanistan, a slow ball cleverly thrown by Akshar Patel made Gulbadin its victim. Gulbadin went for the shot at the wrong time which resulted in Rohit taking the catch at mid-wicket, ending Gulbadin’s innings of 57 runs in 35 balls, which included 5 fours and 4 sixes.
