New Delhi: Ravichandran Ashwin has created history in the second Test of the ongoing Border Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia. He made a special record by bowling amazingly against the Kangaroo team after winning the toss and opting to bat first. He completed 100 wickets against Australia, dismissing wicketkeeper Alex Carey. He became the second bowler in India to do so. Before him, only the great Anil Kumble could cross this figure.

Cheteshwar Pujara is playing his 100th match at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Ashwin has put in full force to make this match memorable. The Indian spinner made Marnus Labuschagne his first victim. He was dismissed LBW after scoring 18 runs, while in the same over, Ashwin also removed former captain Steve Smith. He could not even open an account. Along with Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja also completed 250 wickets in the second Test against Australia in Delhi. Ravindra Jadeja achieved this feat in the 62nd match of his Test career. In the second Test match against Australia, he took three wickets for Team India. Jadeja’s 250th victim became Usman Khawaja, who was dismissed for 81 runs for Australia.

Along with this, a big record was also registered in his name. Actually Jadeja has become the second fastest player for India to score 250 wickets and 2500 Test runs. In this case, Ashwin occupies the first place.
