Pudhari Online: Central Railway has given happy news for cricket lovers. Central Railway has announced to run Cricket World Cup special train for the fans traveling from Mumbai to Ahmedabad to watch the final match of Cricket World Cup (IND vs AUS Cricket World Cup final).
Tomorrow on Sunday (November 19) the final match of the World Cup will be played between the hosts India and Australia at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Narendra Modi Stadium has a capacity of about 1,30,000 spectators. Since the Indian Union will play the last round in it, many people from different cities are likely to go to Ahmedabad in large numbers. Due to this, hotel fares and air fares are very high.
Regarding the World Cup special trains, Central Railways said, “Train number 01153 CSMT- Ahmedabad Special Express will depart from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) at 10.30 am on 18th November (Saturday) and reach Ahmedabad at 06.40 am on the next day (Sunday).
“Train No. 01154 Ahmedabad – CSMT Special Express departs from Ahmedabad on 20 November daily (Sunday/Monday midnight) at 01.45 hrs and will reach CSMT at 10.35 hrs on the same day (Monday).”
The flyer also says that the train will start from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and will stop at Dadar, Thane, Vasai Road, Surat and Vadodara before reaching Ahmedabad. The train will have one AC-first class, three AC-2 tier and 11 AC-3 tier coaches.
