IND vs AUS WC 2023: Indian innings ends, Team India gives target of 241 runs to Australia

Ahmedabad (Uttam Hindu News): Today the final of India vs Australia World Cup 2023 is being played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. India has set a target of 241 runs for Australia in the title match. The Indian team was all out for 240 runs in the stipulated 50 overs. India has hope from the bowlers. Virat Kohli and KL Rahul scored half-centuries. After losing the toss and opting to bat first, the Indian team made a steady start. Captain Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill added 30 runs for the first wicket. Gill could score only 4 runs in 7 balls.

Thanks to Rohit’s stormy batting, India completed 50 runs in the 7th over. However, the captain could not complete his half-century. He scored 47 runs in 31 balls with the help of 4 fours and 3 sixes. Rohit made a partnership of 46 runs with Kohli for the second wicket. Shreyas Iyer (4)’s bat did not work. After this, Kohli made a partnership of 67 runs with KL Rahul for the fourth wicket.

Kohli scored 54 runs in 63 balls with four fours and was bowled. Rahul played a very slow innings. He scored 66 runs in 107 balls. He hit just one four. Ravindra Jadeja (9), Mohammed Shami (6) and Jasprit Bumrah (1) could not do anything special. Suryakumar Yadav contributed 18 runs in 28 balls. Kuldeep Yadav was run out after scoring 10 runs. Mohammad Siraj remained unbeaten after scoring 9 runs.
