On the basis of Jaiswal’s explosive innings, India scored 381 runs in 103 overs. 22-year-old left-handed batsman Jaiswal completed his half-century in 89 balls in the morning and then scored his second Test century in 62 balls. On the second day of the second Test match being played, Jaiswal completed his double century by hitting a four off Shoaib Bashir.
Jaiswal has also played big innings on Caribbean soil.
Jaiswal had scored 171 runs in his Test debut on Caribbean soil last year. Rajat Patidar, who was making his debut with him at the other end, was the fourth batsman to be out. He scored 32 runs on 72 balls in his debut. Three fours came in his innings.
