Ind Vs Nz T20: India-New Zealand teams will reach Ranchi today, fans flock to buy tickets

After the three-match ODI series against New Zealand, India has to play a three-match T20I series. Its first match will be played on January 27 at JSCA International Stadium, Ranchi. Its preparation has been completed. On Tuesday, the next day after the last match of the ODI series in Indore, on Wednesday, January 25, both the teams will reach Ranchi by chartered plane in the evening. Arrangements have been made for the stay of the teams at Hotel Radiance Blu. On January 26, both the teams will practice in separate sessions (from 12 noon to 8 pm). The match will be played at JSCA Stadium on January 27 from 7.30 pm. The second T20 match of the series will be played in Lucknow on January 29 and the third match in Ahmedabad on February 1.
Team India’s winning record
So far three T20 matches have been held at JSCA Stadium and Team India has won all three. The first T20 match between India and Sri Lanka was played here on 12 February 2016, in which India won by 69 runs. On 7 October 2017, India defeated Australia by nine wickets in the second T20 match by Duckworth-Lewis method. On 19 November 2021, India defeated New Zealand by seven wickets.
Rohit, Virat and Rahul will not be seen
Team India’s top cricketers Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul will not be seen in the T20 match to be held in Ranchi. Hardik Pandya will lead Team India in the T20 series.
Local boy Ishan Kishan and stylish batsman Shubman Gill will be on watch
JSCA International Cricket Stadium is the home ground of former Team India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni as well as wicket-keeper batsman Ishan Kishan. This stadium has proved lucky for Ishan Kishan. Ishan scored an inning of 93 runs in the ODI match played against South Africa here on October 9, 2022. Apart from Ishan, in-form stylish batsman Shubman Gill will also be eyeing the T20 match against New Zealand on Friday.
