New Delhi: There is only one month left for the start of the ICC ODI World Cup. Ticket sale has started. There is a scramble among fans to buy tickets, especially for the India-Pakistan match to be held on October 14. Regarding the tickets for the Indo-Pak match, former fast bowler Venkatesh Prasad has said that the BCCI will have to pay attention to this and keep transparency on the sale of tickets.

The World Cup match between India and Pakistan will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The capacity of spectators in this stadium is one lakh. At the same time, Venkatesh Prasad has said that BCCI should keep at least 85000 tickets for the audience.

Venkatesh Prasad tweeted and wrote, ‘I appeal to BCCI to be more transparent in World Cup tickets and urge not to take the fans lightly. Surely there should be more than 85000 tickets available for fans at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, which has a capacity of more than 1 lakh.

“It would be more gratifying if the die-hard fan is kept happy and not deprived of this opportunity, rather than reserving a sizeable portion for corporate and members,” he said.
