Suryakumar Yadav’s blistering 44-ball 83 helped India keep the series alive by winning the third T20 International of the five-match series against the West Indies by seven wickets.
Apart from hitting 10 fours and four sixes in a 44-ball innings, Suryakumar made an aggressive partnership of 87 runs in 51 balls for the third wicket with Tilak Verma and brought the team back into the match. Tilak, however, missed out on the half-century. He scored 49 runs in an unbeaten inning of 37 balls with the help of four fours and a six.
Captain Hardik Pandya remained unbeaten on 20 runs in 15 balls with one four and one six. Tilak and Pandya shared a 43-run partnership in 31 balls for the fourth wicket. The Indian team, who had lost both the opening matches of the series, achieved the target for the loss of three wickets in 17.5 overs after restricting the West Indies to 159 for five.
West Indies are still leading the series 2-1. The last two matches of the series will be played in Lauderhill, USA. India had lost the wickets of both the openers till the fifth over, but after that the fearless batting of Suryakumar and Tilak turned the tide of the match.
During this, Suryakumar battered the West Indies bowlers by hitting fours and sixes around the ground. Openers Brendan King (42) and Kyle Myers (25) got West Indies off to a good start with a 46-ball 55-run partnership but a brilliant performance by the bowlers led by Kuldeep Yadav (3/28) saw India claw their way back into the match. Did.

He hit a six against Joseph in the 13th over but got caught by King in an attempt to play another big shot. After the dismissal of Suryakumar, Tilak did not let India’s dominance on the match diminish by hitting a four against Hussain and a six against Shepherd in the first ball of the 16th over.
