India beat Kiwi team by 168 runs, series 2-1

Ahmedabad. The Indian team defeated New Zealand by 168 runs in the third T20 match in Ahmedabad to win the series 2-1. In the last match of the series, India scored 234 runs losing 4 wickets in 20 overs thanks to Shubman Gill’s brilliant century. In reply, the Kiwi team got all out for 66 runs in 12.1 overs. The Indian team defeated New Zealand by 168 runs in the third T20 match.
Earlier, thanks to Shubnam Gill’s brilliant unbeaten century (126 runs), the Indian team scored 234 against New Zealand at the loss of four wickets in 20 overs. India has given New Zealand team a target of 235 runs to win. India won the toss and elected to bat first in the third T20 match being played here at the Narendra Modi Stadium. The team lost the first wicket in the form of batsman Ishaan Kishan in the second over of the innings. Kishan bowler got out LBW trying to hit the ball of M. Bracewell. At the same time, the other end Shubnam Gill was in the crease.

After the dismissal of Kishan (1), Rahul Tripathi took charge of the innings and Gill was using his wrists freely. There was an 80-run partnership between the two batsmen.
