Hangzhou: Indian archers performed brilliantly and entered the quarter-finals in all team events at the Asian Games on Monday. India played five team elimination rounds and lost only one set. Whereas the women’s compound team got a bye till the quarter-finals due to being on top in the qualification. Fifth seeds Atanu Das and Ankita Bhakat defeated Malaysia’s Syakira Binti M and Muhammad Zarif Syahir Bin Jokepeli 39. 38, 37. 36, 39. Defeated by 33.

Now they will face Malaysia. In the compound team category, second seeds Ojas, Abhishek Verma and Prathamesh Javakar defeated 15th seeds Singapore (Woon Teng Eng, Lee Chung Hee Allen and Jun Hui Goh) with a score of 235. Defeated by 219.
Now they will face the lower ranked Bhutan team. The top seeded women’s compound team (Jyoti, Aditi Swamy and Preneet Kaur) will play ninth seeded Hong Kong, who defeated Bangladesh by 225, in the quarter-finals. Defeated by 218. The men’s recurve team of Das, Dheeraj and Tushar Shelke defeated Hong Kong’s Kwok Yin Chai, Law Kwun Pok Lucien and Chun Kit by 58. 47, 57. 49, 57. Defeated by 55.
