India has started preparing for 6G rollout. Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave this message from the Red Fort on the 77th Independence Day. Talking on many different topics, he also emphasized that India is now preparing for 6G internet connectivity.

PM Modi also told that India has become the third largest economy in the world, but even after this, the most affordable data plans and internet services are available here. There was a time when India was called only the country of snake charmers but now in every way India is progressing. Within a short time of the roll-out of 5G, India is now preparing itself for 6G as well.

Task force ready for 6G
PM Modi said that it has become necessary to shift from 5G to 6G and for this a 6G task force has also been prepared. He also informed that people in more than 700 districts have 5G access and with this figure India has become the fastest 5G rollout country.

Preparations are already being done for 6G
This is not the first time that PM Modi is talking about 6G or getting ready for 6G. Last year, at the silver jubilee event of TRAI, he also said that by the end of this decade, we will launch 6G services and for this our task force is also working.

Internet usage is increasing in the country
PM Modi said that Internet users in India are increasing very fast and the government has encouraged good competition, due to which India has become one of the countries with the cheapest data plans in the world.

At present, 6G technology is not available, but the goal of creating a task force is that India should be connected with global practices and when 6G connections come in the world, India should not be left behind in this matter and can roll-out the new bandwidth immediately.
