Indian hockey team leaves for Australia to play five test series to prepare for Olympics

The Indian men’s hockey team left for Australia to play a five-Test series starting from April 6 in preparation for the Paris Olympics. The team captained by Harmanpreet Singh left on Monday night. The Indian team recently won three out of four matches in the FIH Pro League in Bhubaneswar. After the first match on April 6, matches are to be held on April 7, 10, 12 and 13.
Harmanpreet said before departure, “We are very excited about this tour. This will help us know our strengths and weaknesses before the Paris Olympics and will also give us a chance to improve. Vice-captain Hardik Singh said, “We are working hard as a team to improve our skills and strategy. We are confident in our ability. We are sure that the performance will be good.
