Indian men’s hockey team crushes Bangladesh 15-1

Salalah (Oman). Maninder Singh scored four goals, including a hat-trick, while Mohammad Raheel scored three as the Indian team began their campaign with a convincing 15-1 win over Bangladesh in the Men’s Asian Hockey 5S World Cup Qualifier, here on Tuesday.
Maninder Singh scored for India in the 10th, 18th, 28th and 30th minutes, while Mohammad Raheel scored in the 2nd, 15th and 24th minutes of the match. Sukhwinder (13′, 22′), Gurjot Singh (13′, 23′), Pawan Rajbhar (19′, 26′), Mandeep Mor (8′), and Dipsan Tirkey (9′) were also on target. Savon Sarovar (2′) scored the only goal for Bangladesh.
At the end of the first half, India was ahead 7-1 and in the second half also, they scored eight goals in their aggressive game. India did not give any respite to the opposition defense throughout the match.
India will next face Oman and Pakistan in two matches on Wednesday.
