India’s daughters excel in Asian Games 2023, aiming for gold, silver and bronze

Today, 27th September, is the fourth day of Asian Games 2023. On the fourth day, Indian women shooters performed brilliantly and won two gold, one silver and one bronze medal for the country. Although the day did not start well, the women’s shooting team soon won India’s first medal of the day.

In shooting, India got a silver medal in the women’s 50 meter rifle 3 positions team event. In this, Sift Samra, Aashi Choukse and Manini Koshik opened the account of the fourth day by winning silver medals for India. Shortly thereafter, the Indian women’s pistol team came out for shooting and changed the color of the medal. This was India’s fourth gold medal in these games.

Got gold medal in shooting
India got another gold medal in shooting by the trio of Manu Bhaker, Isha Singh and Rhythm Sangwan. This trio was successful in winning the gold medal in the 25 meter pistol women’s team shooting event. During this, Indian players scored 1759 points in this event, while Chinese players stood second with 1756 points and won the silver medal.

Sift Kaur Samra Made a world record by winning the gold medal
Then once again Sift Kaur Samra won the gold medal for India in the women’s 50 meter air rifle individual event. He won gold in the Asian Games 2023 by setting world records in 3 positions and proved his mettle.

Sift Kaur created a Games record, Asian Games record and world record in the same competition by scoring 469.6. In this event, Aashi Chouksey of India won the bronze medal by scoring 451.9.

However, apart from Indian women shooters, the Indian men’s team has also done wonders in the Asian Games. Another medal has been added to India’s list in this game. Team India has won the bronze medal in shooting men’s skeet. Angad Bajwa, Gurjot Khangura and Anantjit Singh have won bronze medals for the country.
