WFI News: Important instructions given to WFI
The instructions of Delhi High Court have also been cited in the order. The order further states that the activities of the Wrestling Federation no longer need to be run through an ad-hoc committee. It also said that the WFI should immediately address the concerns of abuse and harassment and appoint a safety committee or officer as soon as possible to ensure that all rules, regulations and guidelines set by the UWW are followed. Apart from this, WFI has also been directed to conduct the elections of the Athletes Commission in a time bound manner as per the established procedures and guidelines.

The order said that this step is necessary to promote athlete representation and participation in the decision-making processes of the WFI. WFI will also repay the loan that was given to the ad hoc committee for the operation of the organization for a few days.
