Lucknow Super Giants mentor Gautam Gambhir and Royal Challengers Bangalore batsman Virat Kohli were fined for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct during a match at the Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow, read a statement issued by the IPL. A penalty of 100% of the fee has been imposed. Both admitted to a Level 2 offense under Article 2.21 of the IPL Code of Conduct.

Bowlers steer RCB to victory over Supergiants
Due to the excellent performance of the bowlers led by leg-spinner Karn Sharma, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) defeated Lucknow Supergiants by 18 runs in a low-scoring match of the Indian Premier League on Monday. Chasing RCB’s target of 127 runs, the Supergiants team scored 108 in 19.5 overs in front of the sharp bowling of Karn (2/20), Josh Hazlewood (2/15) and Wanindu Hasaranga (1/20). Got confined to the run. Mohammad Siraj, Harshal Patel and Glenn Maxwell also took one wicket each for the team. Only Krishnappa Gautam (23) was able to cross the 20-run mark from Supergiants.
