IPL 2023: Increased weight, broken leg … Rishabh Pant reached stadium to support Delhi Capitals despite pain

Earlier, the team management remembered Rishabh Pant by hanging his jersey on the roof of Delhi Capitals’ dugout, although the BCCI did not like this move at all. The Indian Cricket Board had also slammed the Delhi franchise for this. The board said that things like hanging the jersey suits after an untoward incident or a player’s retirement. It is beyond comprehension to give tribute to such an injured active player.
Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) director Shyam Sharma has made special seating arrangements for Rishabh Pant so that he can comfortably watch the match at the stadium. DDCA President Rohan Jaitley himself was monitoring things. During this, the security of Rishabh Pant has been doubled so that no one bothers him unnecessarily.
This will be his first appearance at a cricket stadium after the horrific car accident on December 30 last year. Pant is recovering from his injuries after narrowly escaping a road accident. In the absence of Pant, David Warner is handling the captaincy of the Delhi team. The franchise has included left-handed wicket-keeper batsman Abhishek Porel in place of Pant.
