The Indian team for the Asian Games includes six players from Bengaluru FC, three from Mumbai City FC, two each from FC Goa, Mohun Bagan, East Bengal, Odisha FC, Kerala Blasters and one each from Punjab FC, Chennaiyin FC and Hyderabad FC. .
All India Football Federation general secretary Shaji Prabhakaran on Monday wrote to these 10 ISL clubs asking them to release their players selected for the Asian Games keeping in mind the national interest.
