The 31-year-old Rajeshwari shot 120 out of 125 to make it to the finals of the six shooters. India’s Manisha Keer and Preeti Rajak were ranked 23rd and 58th respectively. While Italy got gold with a score of 354, Australia got silver and China got bronze. After the final, Rajeshwari said, “I feel great. It’s unbelievable. Finally got the quota. I wish I could have won a medal but it’s feeling good.”
Significantly, India has so far achieved 7 quotas in shooting for the Paris Olympics.
