Jasprit Bumrah returns in the fifth test, KL Rahul out due to injury

Hospice: Jasprit Bumrah has returned to the Indian team for the fifth and final Test match starting from March 7 in Dharamshala. Whereas KL Rahul is out of the team due to injury. Along with this, Washington Sundar, who is playing for Tamil Nadu in Ranji Trophy, has been released from the team for the semi-finals. The semi-final is to be played between Tamil Nadu and Mumbai from March 2 to March 6.
BCCI has said in its statement that Sundar has been released from the team in view of the Ranji Trophy match. If he is needed, he will be called back to the Indian team after the home matches. The statement said that the medical team is keeping a close eye on Rahul’s injury and is also in touch with experts present in London. If Rahul is out of the first few matches of the Indian Premier League (IPL) due to injury, then Lucknow Super Giants vice-captain Nicholas Puran can be seen captaining the team in his place.
