Talking to JFC CEO Mukul Chowdhary on the phone after the tweet, BJP leader Dinesh Kumar requested to take cognizance and ensure disciplinary action. Within minutes of the complaint, footballer Seminlen Doungale apologized, deleting his earlier Instagram posts. He wrote in his Instagram post that whatever is happening in Manipur is extremely disturbing and worrying for him. He apologizes for his previous Instagram post in reference to Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Forgive those who have been hurt by that post. They hope that life will soon return to normal for all the affected groups in Manipur.
Famous player should not cross his linguistic dignity
After this apology of the footballer, BJP leader Dinesh Kumar said that the incident in Manipur is really worrying, but it is unfair to make misleading remarks by blaming the Home Minister of the country for this. We sympathize with the violence affected people of Manipur, but a nationally renowned sportsperson should not cross his linguistic decency. He has left the final decision of taking action or not on the JFC management in this matter.
