Jharkhand State Fencing Championship: 14th Jharkhand State Fencing Championship The hosting has been handed over to Ramgarh. The championship will be held on 25 and 26 February at Child World and Scholars High School, Ramgarh. It will be inaugurated on February 25 by chief guest Tata Steel Best Bokaro Division General Manager Anurag Dixit, special guest state association president Archit Anand and general secretary Jai Kumar Sinha. The championship will conclude on February 26 with prize distribution.

On Wednesday, a joint meeting of Ramgarh District Fencing Association office bearers, Technical Director and Child World and Scholars High School management was held regarding the championship. In the meeting, along with the success of the championship, discussions were held to generate interest in sports among children. The officials told that the players who perform better in the championship will take part in the national competition.

Organizing Committee Chairman Gopal Jaju, Vice Chairman cum School Principal Gitanjali Jaju, Technical Director Prem Uday Beck, Tata Steel Officer Rajan Tiwari, President of Ramgarh District Fencing Association Dinesh Kumar and Secretary Rakesh Kumar Mishra were present in the meeting.
