Jharkhand State Eye Society is the best in the country, this is how Dr. Bharti Kashyap’s initiative paid off

Jharkhand State Eye Society has once again received the honor of the best eye society. This is the second time that Jharkhand Eye Society has received the award of the best eye society of the country. This award was presented during the 82nd annual convention of All India Eye Society held in Kolkata. This award has been received for making people aware about eye diseases in rural areas and for promoting scientific and educational activities.

Managing Committee Member cum Chairman Scientific Committee of Jharkhand State Eye Society, Dr. Bharti Kashyap has given this information. He told that this honor was given to our organization during the inauguration ceremony of the annual convention of All India Eye Society. He informed that Jharkhand State Eye Society has been awarded the National Award for Best State Society for educational and scientific activities in the category of 100 to 500 members.

Jharkhand Eye Society continues campaign

Dr. Bharti Kashyap told that under the banner of Jharkhand Eye Society, efforts are being made towards eye donation, glaucoma, cataract and diabetic retinopathy in Santal Pargana of Jharkhand as well as in remote areas of Palamu Division, North Chotanagpur Division, South Chotanagpur Division and Kolhan Division. Continuous campaigns were run by the society to make people aware.

Expressing happiness over receiving this prestigious award for the second consecutive time, he said that it is an honor not only for the society but also for Jharkhand. This award has made Jharkhand prestigious across the country twice in a row. He said that along with academic activities, post graduate students of Kashyap Memorial Eye Hospital Ranchi, Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) Ranchi, Bokaro General Hospital and Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) Ranchi were given surgical training through wet lab. .

Jharkhand State Eye Society conducted seminars in many cities

Dr. Bharti Kashyap said that various types of scientific seminars were organized by the Society to make the eye doctors aware about the new techniques of eye treatment across Jharkhand. These seminars were held in different cities of the state. As a result of this, we have once again received this prestigious award.

Dr. Bharti Kashyap received the award from Swami Nityakamananda.

This award was received jointly by Swami Nityakamanand, Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission Hospital, along with Dr. Bharti Kashyap, Chairman of the Scientific Committee and member of the Management Committee, along with Management Committee member Dr. BP Kashyap, Secretary Dr. SK Mitra and President Dr. Raj Mohan. On this occasion, President of All India Eye Society, Dr. Harbansh Lal and senior eye doctor of America, Dr. Uday Devgan were also present.
