Jharkhand wins 4 medals in 67th SGFI Archery Competition U-17, third position in the country in the Indian round

Bundu (Ranchi), Anand Ram Mahato: Jharkhand team won a total of four medals in the 67th SGFI Archery Competition Under-17. These include two gold, one silver and one bronze medal. The competition was organized in Nadiad, Gujarat on 17 and 18 December. In the team event of the Indian Round, the Jharkhand team stood first by scoring a total of 1972 points and captured the gold medal. Whereas in the Indian round 30 meters, Laukhan Bodra has won the gold medal by scoring 340 points. Similarly, in overall, Laukhan Bodra scored a total of 670 marks and won the silver medal. Apart from this, Rajesh Purti won the bronze medal in 40 meter distance of the Indian round. With this, Jharkhand was honored by giving third place in the country.

This entire team had Gangadhar Nag and Vivekananda Raghu as coaches. While Suresh Chandra Mahato and Sneha Patel remained as managers. State Education Secretary K Ravikumar, State Project Director Kiran Kumari Pasi, State Program Officer Dhirsen A Soreng and all the officials of the Physical Education Sports Cell have congratulated the entire team for bringing glory to the name of Jharkhand across the country.

Aneet of Jharkhand won gold in Under-14

Here in the 80 meter hurdles of under-14 athletics of the 67th National School Games organized by the School Games Federation of India in Lucknow. Jharkhand K’s Anit Oraon won the gold medal. Aneet, a student of Lutheran School, Gumla, won the gold medal in 11.31 seconds. Earlier, Anit had won the bronze medal in the 100 meter race of the same competition. Aneet was also congratulated by Education Secretary K Ravi Kumar, State Project Director Kiran Kumari Pasi, State Project Officer Dhirsen Soreng.
