Jio Netflix Prepaid Plan: Reliance Jio introduced two plans with Netflix subscription for its prepaid mobile customers. The company said in a statement that with Jio’s Rs 1,099 plan, customers will get two GB data per day. At the same time, with the plan of Rs 1,499, the company is giving three GB data per day. The validity of both the plans is 84 days. In the plan of Rs 1,499, Netflix can also be streamed on any big screen like TV or laptop.
Netflix subscription is already available on select Jio postpaid and Jio Fiber plans, but Netflix subscription will be available for the first time on prepaid plans. With this, more than 40 crore prepaid customers of Jio will get the option to choose a plan with Netflix subscription.
Kiran Thomas, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Jio Platforms Limited, said in the statement, we are committed to bring world-class services to our customers. The prepaid plan with Netflix is another step in demonstrating our resolve.
Over the past few years, we’ve introduced a number of successful local shows, documentaries and films that have been loved by audiences across India, said Tony Jamczkowski, Vice President of APAC Partnerships, Netflix. Our new partnership with Jio will give customers access to Indian content as well as content from around the world.
