Jubilant DAV Cricket Academy won the title of Under-19 Cricket Tournament, Chandigarh UT News in Hindi

Chandigarh. DAV College Cricket Academy, Chandigarh defeated Sunrise Cricket Academy, Zirakpur by 71 runs and won the title of 2nd Late RP Singh Memorial Boys Under-19 Cricket Tournament held at IVCA here today. Batting first, DAV College Cricket Academy, Chandigarh scored 169 runs in 38.4 overs. In reply, the entire team of Sunrise Cricket Academy Zirakpur was all out for 98 runs in 27.5 overs.
Former IAS and motivational speaker chief guest Vivek Atre distributed the awards along with Harminder Kaur wife of late RP Singh, Kanwar Virdi, UT Cricket Association women’s team selector Bhupinder Singh.
Vivek Atre said that the organizers are indeed worthy of praise. Congratulations to those who are engaged in promoting cricket at the grassroots level and providing a platform to the budding cricketers from rural/backward areas of the city to showcase their talent on big grounds. Because they continuously organized such big tournaments in different juvenile categories for men and women.

Best All Rounder/Best Player- Anubhav Kaushik of Sunrise Cricket Academy, Zirakpur scored a total of 291 runs and took a total of 13 wickets in 6 matches. man of the Match- Hrithik Sandhu of Sunrise Cricket Academy, Zirakpur.
