However, it has not been announced officially. But Kalpana Soren has taken charge in Gandeya assembly constituency. She has been engaged in the campaign for two days. Along with him, former Gandey MLA and Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Sarfaraz Ahmed and Giridih MLA Sudivya Kumar Sonu are also involved in the campaign. She is addressing meetings at various places in Gandeya assembly constituency. Party sources said that only Kalpana will contest the elections. Party President Shibu Soren, Working President Hemant Soren and Party Vice President and Chief Minister Champai Soren have given their consent to this. Only after this Kalpana entered the field. Here, Dumka Lok Sabha seat is in JMM’s account. But the picture of who will fight from here this time is not clear. However, sources say that Hemant Soren can contest this seat from jail itself. The party is also putting pressure on him to contest the Lok Sabha elections. BJP has given ticket to the current MP from there, Sunil Soren. It was told that talks have taken place twice between Chief Minister Champai Soren and Hemant Soren regarding Dumka. He has been made aware of the sentiments of the workers. Hemant Soren’s brother Basant Soren himself also wants Hemant to contest elections from Dumka. The Chief Minister has also left the decision to Hemant that he should either contest the elections from there himself or put forward the name of the person whom he wants to contest the elections from. At present, eyes are fixed on Hemant Soren.

Public wants Hemant to contest elections

When asked about this, party general secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya said that all the party leaders and the people of Dumka also want Hemant Soren to contest the Lok Sabha elections. The Chief Minister has been informed about the wishes of the public. The party has authorized Hemant Soren only to take the decision on Dumka.

MLAs have started election preparations for the Lok Sabha elections. JMM MLA Lobin Hembram can contest elections from Rajmahal. However, the candidature of current JMM MP Vijay Hansda from Rajmahal is considered certain. Lobin Hembram has already talked about contesting elections from Rajmahal. He has opened a front against the party. Here, the party can field JMM MLA Dashrath Gagrai in the elections against BJP candidate Geeta Koda. Dashrath Gagrai is the party’s MLA from Kharsanwa. Mr. Gagrai is busy in correcting the documents for the elections. Meanwhile, Male MLA Vinod Singh is preparing to contest elections from Koderma. He will be the candidate of India Alliance. In the alliance, this seat is going to Male’s quota. JMM and Congress are in favor of making Vinod Singh the candidate from this seat and this information has been given to the MLA leadership. At the same time, the party has made BJP MLA Manish Jaiswal its candidate from Hazaribagh. Mr. Jaiswal is also preparing for his nomination. These MLAs have applied for no-objection certificate (no-dues) from the assembly. Before filing nomination in Lok Sabha elections, MLAs will have to submit its accounts along with nomination papers.
