Wellington: Kane Williamson, who was injured during the IPL, is hopeful that he will be fit before the ODI World Cup to be held in India later this year. New Zealand’s limited-overs captain Williamson suffered an ankle injury (ACL) in Gujarat Titans’ first match against Chennai Super Kings on 31 March. I have never suffered this type of injury before, but after talking to people who have suffered, I have come to know that the journey will be long.
