Killer who killed cricketer Suresh Raina’s relative killed in police encounter

Lucknow (Best Hindu News): The bomber who killed the relative of former cricketer Suresh Raina has been killed during an encounter with the UP police. In the year 2020, the miscreant Rashid killed Raina’s uncle and his son. The police had declared a reward of 50 thousand on Rashid. Rashid has more than ten cases of robbery, murder and dacoity registered against him.

SSP Sanjeev Suman told that the Kshaymar gang of Shahpur area was trying to execute an incident. After getting the information, the police and SOG team were checking at around 4 pm on Saturday afternoon. Meanwhile, when the team tried to stop two people riding a bike, they opened fire on the police. In retaliatory firing, one miscreant was injured by bullet, while the other escaped. Police sent the injured to the hospital, where he was declared brought dead.

The miscreant was identified as Rashid, resident of Jhuggi Jhopri Chadawa, District Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan Hall, resident of Peepalsana Police Station Bhojpur Moradabad. Police have recovered bike, 32 bore revolver, pistol and a large quantity of cartridges from the spot.

The SSP said that on the night of August 19, 2020, Rashid, along with his accomplices, committed a robbery at the house of Suresh Raina’s uncle, contractor Ashok Kumar, in Tharayal village of Pathankot district of Punjab. During this, the miscreants had killed Ashok Kumar. Another person also died in the incident. Ashok’s wife Asha Rani was seriously injured.
