New Gen KTM 390 Adventure: The demand for sports and adventure bikes has increased significantly in India. After seeing the spy shots of the new KTM 390 Adventure, its design is known. The testing mule got a 19-inch front tyre, while the bike seen testing in Europe got a 21-inch unit. This bike can come in two different variants and both these variants can be seen in India also. Additionally, the spy shots highlight the new headlight setup formed by two projector units with an LED DRL surrounding them. Its design is like off-roading, which includes visor, long ride suspension, sporty tank, wire-spoke rims.
Engine of the new KTM 390 Adventure
The new KTM 390 adventure bike will come with LC4C 399cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, which will be capable of generating 45 bhp power and 40 Nm peak torque. It will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox with bi-directional quick shifter.
Features of the new KTM 390 Adventure
Full-length side exhaust can be found in the new KTM 390 adventure bike. For suspension, adjustable forks will be available at the front and offset monoshock setup at the rear. The new KTM 390 Adventure will feature disc brakes on both front and rear wheels for better braking performance. Along with this, this bike is available with Dual-Channel Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Cornering Traction Control and Lean-Angle Sensitive Cornering ABS, which provides better safety even when applying sudden brakes at high speed.
Price and competition of the new KTM 390 Adventure
Information about the price and availability of the new KTM 390 Adventure in the Indian market will be given at the time of its launch. It is estimated that the price of this bike could be around Rs 4 lakh. After coming in the market, it will compete with Royal Enfield Himalayan, which has a 451.65 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. The ex-showroom price of Himalayan is Rs 2.7 lakh.
