However, the company had updated Land Rover Discovery Sport in the global market only last year, which has now been launched in India.

Land Rover India has launched the Discovery Sport updated SUV in the Indian market at an ex-showroom price of Rs 67.90 lakh. Currently, it is available only in Dynamic trim. Dual engine option has been given in this SUV car, which includes 2.0-litre petrol engine and 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel. The 2.0-litre petrol engine of Land Rover Discovery Sport is capable of generating 245 bhp and 365 Nm peak torque. At the same time, its 2.0-liter Ingenium diesel engine generates 201 bhp and 430 Nm peak torque. Both units of its engine come with 8-speed automatic transmission.

The exterior of the Land Rover Discovery Sport gets a nip and tuck. This includes grille, low body sills and low bumper. All are finished in shiny black color. Gloss black detailing extends to the wheel arches. Additionally, the three-line signature of the front air intake gives it a distinctive look. The SUV also gets new 19-inch diamond-turned finish alloy wheels, while Land Rover has added a new Veresin Blue color option.

Talking about the interior of Land Rover Discovery Sports, many major updates have been made in its cabin, in which the old screen has been replaced with a new 11.4-inch curved glass display for the infotainment system. The center console has been redesigned for a more minimalist look like the Range Rover and Defender models. The unit gets the latest Pivi Pro infotainment system with major controls and shortcut keys for functions on the sidebar. Land Rover claims that this ensures access to 90 percent of functions with two taps from the home screen.
