Legends League Cricket announces national campaign with Vande Bharat Express

New Delhi. Legends League Cricket has announced a national campaign in collaboration with Indian Railways. During this campaign, the coveted trophy will travel to several states on Vande Bharat Express from November 8.

The trophy will travel across the country to 17 different states and union territories. Cricket lovers along with the legends of the game will be able to be a part of Legends League Cricket through Vande Bharat Express, the country’s fastest train network.

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said, “We welcome the legendary players to Legends League Cricket and Vande Bharat. We look forward to this incredible journey of promoting sports across the country.”

Ravi Shastri, Commissioner of Legends League Cricket, said, “We are proud to partner with Indian Railways and contribute to the promotion of sports. The game is getting bigger every day in Legends League Cricket. I would say that this season, Legends League cricket is going to be a blast.

The expedition is starting from New Delhi on November 8 and will be the first of a 16-route journey.

Raman Raheja, CEO, Legends League Cricket, said, “As we flag off this unique collaboration with Indian Railways, Legends League Cricket is committed to giving fans the best experience. It will bring the culture of the game to every corner of the country. “It is a new initiative to promote. Top stalwarts like Gayle, Sreesanth and Watson will embark on a nationwide tour in Vande Bharat Express with the LLC Trophy.”

Cricket legends like Gautam Gambhir, Suresh Raina, Irfan Pathan, Chris Gayle, Kevin Pietersen, S Sreesanth, Parthiv Patel, Shane Watson, Praveen Kumar, Jhulan Goswami have been included in this campaign. These national and international stars who are an inspiration to many generations will board the Vande Bharat Express spread across 5 railway zones namely North, South, Central, East and West.

Speaking about the trip, Shane Watson said, “The idea of ​​promoting the spirit of the game in such a special way is amazing. I am very excited to be a part of such an initiative and share my stories with my fans. Can’t wait to do.”

The second edition of Legends League Cricket will be played from 18 November to 9 December.

The tournament will be held in five cities: Ranchi, Dehradun, Jammu, Vizag and Surat. The first match will be played between Bhilwara Kings captained by Irfan Pathan and India Capitals captained by defending champion Gautam Gambhir.

Six teams, India Capitals, Manipal Tigers, Gujarat Giants, UrbanRisers Hyderabad, Southern Superstars, Bhilwara Kings will compete for the coveted trophy to be unveiled through this tour.
