Lok Sabha Election 2024: Election battle begins from Western UP, nomination for eight Lok Sabha seats from today

Lok Sabha Election 2024 in UP is starting from 20th March. There will be a total of seven phases. Voting will be held in the first phase on April 19. This time 15.29 crore voters will exercise their right to vote in UP. Of the total voters, there are 50 lakh youth voters. Of these, 20.40 lakh are young voters who will vote for the first time.

Lucknow: The battle for Lok Sabha Election 2024 in UP will begin from today. The nomination process for Kairana, Nagina, Pilibhit, Saharanpur, Muzaffar Nagar, Bijnor, Rampur, Moradabad seats of Western Uttar Pradesh will start from today. Voting is to be held on eight seats of UP in the first phase. Voting is to be held on 8 seats in the second phase, 10 in the third phase, 10 in the fourth phase, 14 in the fifth phase, 14 in the sixth phase and 13 seats in the seventh phase.

In 2019, SP was gaining the upper hand over BSP.
If we look at the eight seats of the first phase in UP, we see that SP, BSP and RLD had won 5 seats. In this, BSP had got Saharanpur, Bijnor and Nagina seats. Whereas SP had won Moradabad and Rampur seats. BJP had got Kairana, Muzaffar Nagar and Pilibhit seats. RLD did not get even one of these seats. The equations have changed in the Lok Sabha elections 2024. This time RLD is with BJP. SP and Congress are in the field together. Whereas BSP is in the election field alone. It remains to be seen in whose favor the result will be in the new equation.

Elections will be held in UP on these dates

April 19 – In the first phase, Kairana, Nagina, Pilibhit, Saharanpur, Muzaffar Nagar, Bijnor, Rampur, Moradabad.
26 April – Amroha, Meerut, Baghpat, Ghaziabad, Noida, Bulandshahr, Mathura, Aligarh in the second phase.
7 May- Sambhal, Hathras, Agra, Fatehpur Sikri, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etah, Badaun, Amla, Bareilly in the third phase.
13 May- Shahjahanpur, Kheri, Dhaurahara, Sitapur, Hardoi, Misrikh, Unnao, Farrukhabad, Etawah, Kannauj, Kanpur, Akbarpur, Bahraich in the fourth phase.
20 May – In the fifth phase, Lucknow, Rae Bareli, Amethi, Banda, Fatehpur, Mohanlalganj, Jhansi, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Kaushambi, Barabanki, Faizabad, Kaiserganj, Gonda.
25 May – In the sixth phase, Sultanpur, Pratapgarh, Phulpur, Allahabad, Ambedkarnagar, Shravasti, Dumariaganj, Basti, Sant Kabir Nagar, Lalganj, Azamgarh, Jaunpur, Fish City and Bhadohi.
June 1- Varanasi, Maharajganj, Gorakhpur, Kushinagar, Deoria, Bansgaon, Ghosi, Salempur, Ballia, Ghazipur, Chandauli, Mirzapur, Robertsganj in the seventh phase.
